This is an annual camp held in the town of Leh, India, with a view to reducing the treatment gap for epilepsy, and providing diagnostic services. This is a Himalayan region on the Tibetan plateau with road access for about 6 months of the year. There are no neurology/epilepsy services, in particular no EEG facilities. Neurologists and epilepsy specialists from the USA, UK and India see patients from the entire Ladakh region for seizure disorders, conduct EEG tests, and provide medications with local support, over a five-day period after newspaper and radio advertisements. Interim follow-up is carried out by primary care physicians from the Ladakh Institute of Prevention. The camp has run regularly from 2013 (apart from 2020).
